If you have ever read the letter to the Philippians, you will probably recall how the letter is filled with the theme of joy and rejoice. For many people, Philippians is their favorite letter in the New Testament. While the letter is filled with these themes, it was written by Paul under very difficult circumstances. In fact, Paul wrote this letter as a prisoner of Rome awaiting his trial before the emperor.
This Sunday, we will begin a new verse-by-verse series entitled “Philippians – Rejoice in the Lord.” Below are a few resources that you might find helpful as we study through this letter.
